Enhancement of the Financial Management of Petrom by idesign, development and implementation of an Integrated Information System.

 

  • Objectives 

To implement the financial management system within 12 Petrom production points all over the country and in Bucharest headquarters.

 

  • Solution 

During the first stage of the project, Romsys carried out a detailed requirements analysis in order to define a Production Branch Model, which has been deployed to all Petrom production branches.

The analysis was followed by a pilot system deployed in one of the Petrom work-points that was later expanded to all the work-points in the country.

  • Benefits & Results
The ERP - Emsys System is being operated by  600 users from Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Exploitation and Maintenance Departments in all Petrom subsidiaries and also in Bucharest headquarters.

The application is completely compliant with the requirements of Romanian legislation.

The Smart-card based Security solution offer benefits like: centralized administration of users, smart-card procedure of reading/writing and graphic user interface, applicative software deployment, integration with ERP - Emsys interface.
