Romania Retail Forum: 8 December 2009
Mediafax organized the 4'th edition of the event Romania Retail Forum, during which Romsys debated along with the other partners, areas of interest as the commerce law regarding food products (which was recently promulgated and has the purpose of limiting anti-concurential practices in large food-chains), the taxes in retail and their weight in the final price of the products, the dominion of the retail chains as well as the best crisis retail format.
IDC- IT&C in the Utilities and Energy sectors: 26 November 2009
During the conference dedicated to the IT&C Solutions for the Utilities and Energy sectors, organized by IDC on November 26 at the JW Marriot Grand Hotel, Romsys presented the advantages of the SAP Industry Standard Solution for Utilities.
At the event there were over 90 persons, representing producers, transporters, and distributors of energy and gas, hot water and vapor suppliers, collectors, purifiers and water distributors.
Expomil: 11-14 November 2009
Sap World Tour: 1st of October 2009
On October 1st, Romsys attended the fifth edition of the SAP World Tour Romania, organized, as always, in a refined and elegant setting, this year’s location being Crowne Plaza.
Developed under the motto “Success strategies in uncertain times”, the event brought together guests along with experts, specialists and partners from SAP, interested in creating opportunities in economically difficult situations. The President of the Realitatea Caţavencu Group, Mr. Emil Hurezeanu moderated the round table where strategies for development on the Romanian market were debated.
Romsys booth was visited by more than 90 participants, clients and prospects, interested in the newest SAP solutions and technologies which our company can supply. During the event the SAP Business All in One, Business Intelligence and SAP CRM solutions were presented, along with case studies of successful SAP implementations.
Geospatial World: 11th - 12th of June 2009
Romsys was one of the sponsors of the event that was organized in a mountain resort, at the 4 star Hotel International, in Sinaia and reunited 100 participants.
Managers, consultants and Presidents from the central and local administration, as well as representatives from the IT&C, transportation and utilities companies got toghether to debate on subjects regarding the successes and difficulties that they encountered in the attempt to implement the most efficient solutions for specific problems. The main theme of the conference was about financing opportunities of the geospatial projects. During the two days case studies were presented, seminars were held, workshops, round tables, technical presentations and contests took place.
“How to impress your CEO & Impact Your Business” - 11th of June 2009
The event that took place on June 11th 2009 at Ramada Parc, and organized in partnership with HR Club, was attended by HR Managers from industries such as logistics, FMCG, banking, constructions etc. The purpose was to make the participants aware of the HR Performance Management Solution developed by COGENT - Slovakia, a company that is, same as Romsys (and three other companies from Eastern Europe), a part of group New Frontier Holding.
The solution sums up the most revolutionary technologies in the field and it is adressed to a wide range of needs that are found in a Human Resources department as well as at Top Management level, starting with the HR Controlling module, continuing with the report - analysis and finishing with the Executive Summary.
Financial & Banking Solutions Day - 9th of June 2009
Romsys organized the event Financial & Banking Solutions Day in partnership with Cisco, EMC and Wincor Nixdorf on 9th of June 2009 at Athene Palace Hilton Bucharest.
Clients, prospects and businessmen from the Financial Banking Sector gathered to discuss the way in which IT solutions and services can answer to the most pressing challenges of the profile industry. At the meeting were presented information solutions for payments optimization, branch management solutions and cash management automatization solutions which optimize the demand/need for ATM cash, safes, equipment which have a cash recycling function, cash registers or processing centers.
Among the participants were representatives from Top banks in the country such as: BCR, BRD, The Romanian Bank, Bancpost, RBS Bank, OTP Bank, ING Bank, Leumi Bank.
Secure Information Management - 12th of May 2009
Secure Information Management event organized by Romsys and EMC at Howard Johnson Hotel Bucharest reunited experts and analists from the government institutions to discuss on topics of interest related to archiving solutions, fizical security and critical data protection solutions, back up and disaster recovery from the point of view of their functionality as well as their benefits for the institutions in defense and public security
The attentand at the event were representatives from Ministry of Defense, Agency for Systems and Military Information Services, Bucharest General Police Direction, Ministry of Interior, SPP and so forth.
Agora Technology Conference - 6th of Mai 2009
Romsys attended the Conference from the series Agora Technology Conferences (ATC) which took place on the 6th of May 2009 at the Romanian Banking Institute and had as a main theme the solutions for optimizing enterprise resource management. Romsys presented its capabilities on stocking and virtualisation, through the partnership with EMC, along with business continuity & availability solutions, back-up, recovery and archiving solutions.
Cisco Expo - 5/6Noiembrie 2008
Romsys attended Cisco Expo, event that reached its sixth edition, and which took place on 5-6 November 2008 at the Radisson SAS Hotel. The event gathered over 500 participants, who were presented the newest communication technologies, indispensable for the development of companies in every sector of activity.The newest solutions and architectures for networks were grouped in five categories: Mobility Services, Virtualization Services, Security Services, Unified Communication Servicesand Service Provider Services. Also presented were case studies with solution implementations by Cisco in companies from Romania and Europe.
Along with the communication solutions implemented for clients such as Automobiles Dacia, Hidroelectrica, E.ON gaz Romania, GDF Suez, Arcelor Mittal, the Defense Ministry, a new communication solution "ATM IP Telephony" dedicated to the banking sector.
How to Impress Your CEO and Impact Your Business - 22 Octombrie 2008
The event organized by Romsys along with HR Club on the 22'nd of October 2009 at Ramada Plaza Bucharest, named How to Impress Your CEO and Impact Your Business brought together participants from the HR sector to which were presented HR Performance Management applications from Cogent, a Slovakian company from the New Frontier Group.
Because of the interest showed by the participants and the positive feedback, Romsys is planning to make this event an anual one.
SAP World Tour 2008 - 16th of October
The most important SAP event of 2008, SAP World Tour, organized on 16th of October, Romsys attended in quality of Silver Sponsor.
Romsys presented its portfolio of SAP Solutions, successfully implemented for large Romanian and international companies, especially organisations from utilities, gas, oil and electric sectors.
ANIAP Conference - 4'th-6'th of May 2008
Between the 4'th and 6'th of May 2008, Romsys participated at the conference of the National Agency of IT Representatives from Public Administration (ANIAP) and presented the advantages and benefits of using Enterprise Content Management and Business Intelligence solutions. The event, dedicated to e-Administration solutions, reunited IT representatives from Public Administration, representatives of solutions providers and honored guests, important persons from this field of activity.

Romsys at Techno Bank 2007
During the second edition of Techno Bank, the specialized fair in services and technologies for financial sector, that took place at the Romanian Banking Institute (RBI), on the 22 and 23 of November 2007, Romsys presented its capabilities as integrator of complex information and infrastructure solutions. Along with its partner Wincor Nixdorf, Romsys presented two of the latest pieces of equipment to the specialists in the banking field present at the event: ProCash3000 dedicated cash-in equipment (cash deposit) and ProCash4000, equipment recommended for cash recycling, but that can also be used as standard cash-in/cash-out equipment, superior advantage in optimizing payments and money deposit equipment.

Romsys, strategic partner of Romanian Ministry of Defense took part to the fifth edition of Expomil, the International Exhibition of Military Equipment and Technique that took place during 18-21 of October 2007 at Romexpo. The booth was visited by political and military personalities of highest level like the Romaian Minister of Defense Mr. Teodor Melescanu, Mr. Corneliu Dobritoiu- State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense, General Major Dr. Ing. Ioan Eftimie Sandu - The Chief of Armaments Department.
Romsys - a New Stage!
The official inauguration of Romsys new headquarters took place on Thursday, the 21st of September 2006. The event has gathered alogside Mr. Zsolt Nagy the Minister of MCTI, representatives of Romanian IT profile publications and TV stations.
"This removal represents much more than a change of address", said Mr. Cojanu, Romsys President, on the occasion of the inauguration event for the new location.
"This removal stands for a new stage of Romsys corporative development, a stage where the number and the importance of our projects are constantly increasing and to the projects implemented on Romanian IT&C market are added new projects for the customers abroad."
Romsys specialists awarded by Wincor Nixdorf
The German company Wincor Nixdorf (WN), one of the top three worldwide providers of banking machines and retail banking, has recently celebrated, the 10 year anniversary of successful partnership with Romsys. During the first quarter of this year, as well as during 2004-2005, the availability of Wincor Nixdorf ATMs installed and maintained by Romsys has reached more than 99%, therefore the company was awarded with the "Best Service" 2004/2005 Oscar, at the beginning of this year.
Romsys at Techno Bank
Techno Bank, the first fair specialized in services and technologies for banking sector, took place during 6-8 April 2006, at Romanian Banking Institute. Romsys took part to the event along with the partners in this field Wincor Nixdorf and System Access, and presented two of the well - known solutions that its specialists implemented for romanian banking system: Pro Cash 3100 and Proconsult 2000.
The Prime Minister Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu appreciates Romsys solutions at Expomil 2005
Romsys, strategic partner of Romanian Ministry of Defense, has successfully taken part to the fourth edition of the International Exhibition of Defense Technologies, Expomil, during Octomber 20-23, at Romexpo.
The Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu has visited Romsys booth at Expomil and he has appreciated Romsys IT solutions and infrastructure in the military domain.
Altogether, Romsys booth has been visited by outstanding persons of highest political and military level: the Minister of National defense, Mr. Teodor Athanasiu, the Minister of Administration and Interior, Mr. Vasile Blaga, the Minister of Economy and Commerce, Mr. Codrut Seres, the Minister of Environment and Water Management, Mrs. Sulfina Barbu, State Secretary and Chief of Department for Armaments, Chief of General Staff, General Eugen Bădălan, Chief of Navy General Staff, rear-admiral dr. Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS)
Romsys and ABG Ster Project Poland, have organized on Tuesday, august 30, 2005, under the patronage of Romanian Ministry of Agriculture, Backwoods and Rural Development, the Conference: Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) Work Tool for the Agency for Restructurinng and Modernization of Agriculture. The event has taken place at the headquarters of Romanian Ministry of Agriculture, Backwoods and Rural Development in the presence of romanian well known institutions representatives, all interested in the future implementation of the system in Romania.
IACS is one of the biggest IT systems implemented in Poland in the few last yearsand its objectives are, on the one hand servicing direct subsidies for agricultural producers, in accordance with the terms specified by the EU in the Common Agricultural Policy, and on the other hand the identification and registration of farm animals in accordence with the veterinary requirements of the EU.
Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier
Romanian IT company Romsys became one of the privileged partners of the American holding Lockheed Martin Corporation, which acknowledged it as "Star Supplier". The event of awarding Romsys with Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier distinction has taken place on the 26th of may 2004, 11 o'clock, at Hilton Hotel, in the presence of both Ioan Mircea Paşcu, the Ministry of Defense and Mr. Richard J. Martin, Vice President of Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors, who had arrived in Romania especially for this event.
Romsys is the only company in Central and Eastern Europe to achieve such a performance.
